Cedar Key Florida a bit of heaven on Earth

Tom took Nick and me to Cedar Key today. Its a quaint beautiful seaside village about 45 monutes from here. I totally fell in love with Cedar Key. We will be going back often Im sure. We had appetizers of oysters on the half shells caught by local fisherman as this is one of the things Cedar Key is known for and we also had conch fritters while sitting out on the deck over looking the gulf. We saw dolphins dolphins and more dolphins playing in the water. We saw birds dive bombing the water as they caught dinner. Later we went to another waterside dining and I had the most delicious dinner of clam chowder and fried clams with onion rings and hushpuppies. Our bellies were full as we toured along and saw the sights of beauitiful Cedar Key. It was the best day I had in a long time. I so love the water. I feel like Im meant to live by the water because I feel right at home.

Im feeling almost grown up lol

We traded in my old car for a "real" car. I almost feel like a grown up now lol.

Our new puppy

Its been about 32 years since I had a puppy . Im loving it but it sure is a lot of work. Its almost like having a human baby as he likes to have us all up at 5 am. His name is Diesel and he is a American Bulldog. The only reason I got this dog is that we got him as a baby because I am afraid of big dogs and this pup is going to be a big one. He should weigh in over 125 when full grown.
